Xpansiv Approved as PJM Member, Expanding Technology and Services for Generation, Storage, and Flexible Load Across the Interconnection

NEW YORK, NY, July 21, 2026 — Xpansiv today announced that its wholesale power solutions business Xpansiv Power has been approved as a member of the PJM Interconnection, the largest U.S. ISO, which operates the wholesale electricity market across 13 states and the District of Columbia. The new member status enables the company to expand the technology and services footprint it has held in PJM for more than ten years.

Xpansiv Power will now support renewables, storage, natural gas, and flexible load participants in PJM through its scheduling and settlement software, data and telemetry services, and PJM-certified 24/7 real-time desk. The expansion meets the needs expressed by many PJM developers and asset owners today. As new resources are commissioned and portfolios change ownership, project sponsors increasingly want a single technology and services partner that can shepherd an asset from commissioning through commercial operations, rather than trying to work with multiple vendors.

Xpansiv Power’s broadened solution set arrives at a pivotal moment for U.S. power markets. PJM and its stakeholders are working through record forecasted load growth driven by data centers, industrial electrification, and reshored manufacturing. Meeting that demand will require a rapid buildout of new generation, storage, and demand response resources, along with the operational infrastructure that allows those resources to reliably participate. Xpansiv Power is positioned to help clients accelerate their asset portfolio expansions and operate those resources with confidence over the long term.

“The U.S. power industry has entered a macro cycle that requires close collaboration between market operators, resource owners, and technology providers, in which we are a key partner,” said Brian Fellon, Senior Vice President, Xpansiv. “With the pace of change in wholesale power markets rapidly accelerating, a nationwide provider is precisely what today’s participants are looking for as they build portfolios that span multiple markets.”

For decades, Xpansiv Power has been a leading provider of wholesale power market technology and services in ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, SPP, NYISO, ISO-NE, and PJM.  More recently in 2025, Xpansiv launched emission-free energy certificates (EFECs) on Xpansiv’s CBL spot exchange, with PJM EFEC portfolios enabled on CBL through Xpansiv Connect.
